Nice. I never owned it, but thought it was a blah stock after Apple dumped 3rd party products from the audio section of their stores. Apparently, it's still selling soundbars and really expensive tiny speakers. lol.
It'll be blah again soon, but today it RISES like the phoenix. I figured with people stuck home during the pandemic, massive product shortages due to demand, and ongoing rumors about Apple acquiring them, it could soar and didn't have far to fall, so I've been holding and waiting for this ER. I got lucky, but at the same time it was kind of a plain sight lower risk play. I'm a plain-sight boy, not a candle stick boy. You know, no-brainer stuff, like UPS. Lulz.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/palantir-enters-mission-command-space-213700719.html Price doubled in around 2 months now just hoping it doesn't turn into a sell the news moment lol.
@peleincubus https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/a...op-Workstation-for-Adobe-Creative-Cloud-1975/ very impressive considering power budget and current lack of software optimization, but still lagging by a lot for professional workloads. Read that new chips dont work with external gpu either. It's a big step for Apple and reasonable to make investment decisions based on their advances in this area. just need to separate the hype of their marketing claims from real world performance/experience.
Which is very hard to do. As their specs don’t correlate to windows/pc. Just the same as they do not to Google/android vs iOS. You have to really just look at real world performance as you said and go from there. And knowing Apple they are likely holding back what they could really do with their chips.
CRWD---bouncing off is up the 20/50 dma---is up 6+ this AM i had sold 10 contracts of bullish 155/145 PUT spread, (expires on 20 Nov ) ; 4 of the 155 PUT sold were exercised today, suggesting that a trader was willing to buy CRWD at 155 the 2 Dec ERS will be one the catalysts to generate momentum for the 3rd attempt to break thru to top trend line / resistance @ 153
NNDM Up 13% today, $5.42 atm. PIC looks like it's breaking out, still cheap for SPAC. http://newsfile.refinitiv.com/getnewsfile/v1/story?guid=urn:newsml:reuters.com:20201116:nBw7DQW5xa
Actually, CRWD and CRM are both stocks I lost big on this year lulz. I think CRM is a great hold though.
AMC, it was announced that BX and a cyberspace VC firm, ClearSky, will purchase $400 million of FireEye's convertible preferred stock, at a price of $1,000 per share. The preferred stock will be convertible into shares of FireEye's common stock at $18.00 per share. Feye is a data security firm, w a mkt cap of ~ $3.5 B as a result this news announcement, in AM trading, FEYE popped $2.7, ~ a 20% jump smart $$$ doubling down on the data security space bodes well for CRWD
How much longer can PLTR keep going on this tear? I wanted to add to my position but this is quickly become a cult stock...
I asked about this thing back in May because FEYE never kept up with the way other cloud/security companies were moving during the run-up the past several months and I never understood why. I thought about buying it back when I saw it was languishing around $9, but decided against it. Eh, I'm staying put for now.
