Wow! If he can do this against the mighty California Baptist Lancers, just imagine what he'll do against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants!!
If nothing else, at least the Vipers just got an influx of talent. And I like the approach of adding multiple late draft picks and undrafted guys. The Rockets have had success with players like that in the past, and if you're adding 2-4 of those guys every draft, you're increasing your chances of lucking out and one of those guys ending up as a legit NBA rotational player. The Rockets' problem always just seems to be that they give up on guys like that (Wood, Covington, etc.) too quickly.
And if someone is really developed he will be traded just before his contract so Tilman wont have to pay him.
You know, when you piss away all of your draft picks every single year, it's good to find undrafted talent to develop. The problem with the Rockets is that these guys always end up somewhere else. I like the guys they picked up this year. All things considered, I think they did really well. Unfortunately, recent history suggests that these guys are very unlikely to ever do much here.
Lets have some faith, it's a new era. If Mike D were still here, I'd agree with you because he never gave the young guys much of a chance. Even when the young guys looked decent (like Isiah), he would just glue them back to the bench.

I am so excited about the prospect of having a bunch of young guys we can watch develop. Presumably with a coach that will develop them, and a system that will let them do more than stand still. Much better than the yearly question of what we can give up to make James Harden happy as we inevitably watch it flame out.
in a year where rookies have basically not played much, you can find real gems late in the draft or non drated i think
We'll let him go and he'll develop into a starter and we'll trade 10 unprotected 1sts for him. All in due time.
Never, never, never listen to ABBA. Love it or hate it, the melody tattoos on your mind and when you wake up to pee, there it is, and no going back to sleep!
At 00:23, after throwing his headband into the stands he starts riverdancing or breakdancing... LOL. The vids posted remind me of a young Corey Brewer. That may not be a bad thing if he develops. lol.
