How many times have we given Tilman the benefit of the doubt and assumed there was a deal on the horizon that would justify all the head scratching moves the team had made? It never happens. I've been waiting for 3 years for Tilman to make a move and it never happens. I have no faith that Tilman is going to go "All In" now, after years of cost cutting, window closing decisions.

It's like the husband that treats his wife like trash. She keeps making excuses for him because she wants to believe in the future, but it never happens. Then the guy finally does something nice like buys her a car or adopts a kitten, but its too late, the damage is done. He wouldn't have to her win her back if he just would have won her over.

Also does a washed up Serge Ibaka really move the needle. Is a washed up Serge Ibaka worth more than the 5 or 6 picks we've used over the last couple years to make the cap room for him?

Even if they use the full MLE, they won't get a player as good as Covington, like others already said, they traded who is possibly the best 3&D in the game, even if they get Ibaka, that would still be a downgrade.
