    This is another classic Tilman fools the casuals. The same things thats been done the last two years. Dump salary. Have things like MLE available and never use it. The end goal is the same. LTS. This time the rockets are a dump and noone will be here so it won't be used again. The casuals won't see it though

    If we get a 4/40 MLE player won't we be hard capped and unable to sign at 12.8 million TE player?

    Funny way of saying "The Rockets are dumping salary, won't use full MLE"

    Expect PJ/House to get traded for a first round pick next that we package with any other pick we have to dump EG somewhere.

    TF is a con artist. there is enough plausible deniability with the TPE, increased MLE to sell the fans that they are going to make big signings to appease the fans. Then, when those signings don't happen, they will just come out and say they tried but it didn't work out. End result is that TF saves money.

    This obviously is a very, very underwhelming move.

    I want to be optimistic and think that we’re going to use our TPE and MLE on serviceable players, but the chance of this happening are slim to none. :(
