yea i just saw a few of his vids and poku just looks really confident with the ball.. basketball seems really natural to him. moves really fluidly for a guy his size also.

and for people concerned about his rail-thin frame... just remember that giannis was just as rail-thin as this guy... until he got on the milwaukee roids diet. so anything is possible lol

    16. Houston Rockets (via POR)

    Precious Achiuwa
    Memphis
    F/C
    Age:
    21.1

A new Houston front office will be picking for a franchise that rarely drafts this high in the first round, so it makes sense to employ a best-player-available strategy. Achiuwa's physical tools and defensive versatility might be attractive to a Rockets team that elected to play with no big men for most of last season but may need to make a shift in style after trading Robert Covington.

Achiuwa has the frame and length to contain big men and the lateral quickness to switch pick-and-rolls. Although his offense is a work in progress, the Rockets have ample scoring on the perimeter, though their roster could look significantly different on opening night.

I'm for this pick, but the Nets should forget about Harden. They haven't got anything that is anywhere near interesting for Houston. I don't think Precious will fall this far, unless he is a cancer or if he's unfit.

Apparently you didn't watch Kukoc play, or dont know what sacrificing some of your game for the betterment of the team looks like.

Yeah, wanted to move him up.

All true, he would have been a good 2nd option or even 1st somewhere else.

Porzingis has more potential but can't stay healthy.

No doubt, I’m saying he’s a hybrid of all them for his high side. But if he reached any of their status he would be worth it.

Also Kukoc was a baller, would probably have him over Porzingis with actual production.

edit* for right now anyway. Porzingis has way more potential.

Kukoc would have entered the NBA as a 21 year old today.

I hope they pick Poku and then trade back into the 1st or late 2nd for one of these role players like Anthony or Scubb, Orturu or Pritchard. Somebody's going to get a really good player if they pick Scrubb or Pritchard at the top of the 2nd Rd. I also like Stewart in that range too. I do question his ability to switch on defense though.

    Precious could be Capela-level good.

Memphis gives me flashbacks to "Ray Lewis with a basketball"

If that stay at 16 here are my favorite options.

Bane, Maxey, Lewis, Nesmith, Achiuwa, Hampton.

I love Bane and would prefer him but all of those guys are intriguing in their own way.
