Seriously, what mentally strenuous and stressful line of work has a bunch of people in their late 80's hanging around doing key jobs? Serving on boards, with quarterly meetings, handing out advice over arnie palmers on the veranda, sure, but not important daily gigs.

SCOTUS, POTUS, and Congress all need age limits. It could even be something gentle like 80. But I honestly think 72 is even better.

I know that would affect a lot of people on both sides of the aisle, and we wouldn't even have had Trump vs. Biden for POTUS, but I just think it's gotten a little ridiculous.

Retirement age is 66 I’d be good with that. If they still want to work they can go do something else.

It would keep more fresh blood in the game. People would be a little less likely to build their political brand (and fundraising machine) as a way of life.

With the declining lifespan I would say no more than 70 years old, maybe 75 but these old fossils...no offense have no business in politics anymore.

This includes Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders and of course Donald Trump.

And imo more importantly get old tired biases/ideas the **** out of the way. It’s like the thinking in our government is 25 years behind where it should be. We don’t have to go full bore progressive but we need to move in a more progressive direction. I’m tired of this god damn foot dragging. It’s holding out society back.

The risk to young healthy individuals from Covid is very low.

Grassley and much of Congress is in the highest risk group but I’m guessing he’s going to get the best care available.

What is the risk of young healthy individuals transmitting to older vulnerable individuals.

This jerk was maskless the day before on the Senate floor. These Republicans are putting others at risk with their Trump no mask stance. It's ignorant & dangerous behavior. It's one thing to be an ignorant fool, but another when you put others at risk. None of this would be happening if Trump wasn't President. He encourages this behavior, because he's a stubborn sociopath who isn't about to admit that his no mask stance was not the smart thing to do. I don't feel sorry for these jerks. I feel sorry for those who are forced to be in the same room with them.

Him and Feinstein make me want to have IQ tests for senators. They are a deliberative body. I can't trust them to deliberate at that age. At least for POTUS, voters get to see just how dumb the president is but no one with a life is tracking the senators' performance nearly as closely. Even if they can give a stump speech, it's no indication of their ability to ascertain best strategy/decisions for the country.
