What else is new. This is actually nightmare material.

Just wait until Tilman fires the entire coaching staff and start putting his family members in so he can pay them minimum wage

Sports teams are money printing enterprises, but Tilman spent like over half his net worth to get this team, so he has to slash operating costs dramatically to get a return on his investment as soon as possible. Plus given how he treats his properties, the best we can hope for is that he will eventually ease up on the cutbacks.... But he will never truly go all in and actually spend money until he's ready to die and wants a title.

If the team spends the next 3 years in the lottery and the perception is the owner is cheap then he may lose a lot in ticket revenue too. It's hard to see the long play here.

If Tilman took out a loan from Les does that mean he can send the repo men to the Toyota Center if he defaults?

Come on guys don't be so harsh, Tilly has confirmed he is always willing to go into luxury tax 'for the right asset' (The right asset being 1. Lebron 2. Giannis)

IIRC general ticket sales are not a huge portion of the revenue. It can be for some teams (esp small market) but for the Rockets I don't think it's much of a concern. The high dollar seats and luxury boxes will always be sold anyway.

Blessing in disguise is JVG not taking the job. I really wonder if Silas still wants the job.
