He's overpaid for his worth. He was paid partly on the potential. For all the hate Russ on his threes, people want a guy who is afraid to take 3pt, on a team that attempted the most threes. Yes MDA is gone, but this is weirdest swerve. The league is going more threes not less.

This is a nets thread, I've said my piece.

Simmons is much younger than Russ and has much more positive qualities than Russ such as being a far more intelligent cerebral player and being an elite defender.

I don't know who Harden thinks he is... but damn.

***UPDATE: James Harden has made it “clear” he wants to play with KD & Kyrie in Brooklyn, and wants the Rockets to strike a deal solely with the Nets, even if Houston can get a better return elsewhere, via

I love Harden, but I love the Rockets more (even with b**** ass Tilman as owner) and the Rockets better not cave in to this demand.

Naw, hold out and get the best package available later. Trade deadline may force some teams to up their packages.

It looks likely that he is going to be the Nets sooner or later. I thought the Nets have a few young players who can be useful for the rockets. The rockets have to go through a process of a rebuilding with or without Harden regardless. I wounder if KD already talked to Harden for team up together at certain time before he left the GS.

I won't be rooting for Harden or Russ if they leave Houston. I'm in full hate watch mode with Morey too and I was a Morey stan.

I don't know if Boston is on the table.... but I'd rather trade with Boston than Brooklyn.

His desire to go to Brooklyn does not matter and Stone better not cave to this nonsense. He has two years left on his contract and does not have the leverage that Kawhi and AD had on their expiring deals.

All it takes is once GM with courage like Masai Ujiri to trade for Harden and go all-in. Ujiri knew he had a 1% chance of re-signing Kawhi even if Toronto won a championship. Even though Kawhi went to LA, Ujiri makes that trade 10 times out of 10 knowing that they win a title. Any all-in GMs should be calling Houston right now and mortgaging their future to prevent Brooklyn from getting him.

I'm not rooting for them. I'm rooting for my fandom to survive. Im rooting for my ability to find another hobby.

You can place blame where ever you want, Les, Tilman, Morey, Russ, MDA and Harden were all instrumental in the destruction of this franchise.

    I'm rooting for Silas.

no brown. Only Tatum. If they don’t want to do that deal, fine, but don’t settle for brown

Screw James Harden. I'm officially done with him at this point.
