im not even fighting about harden. its simple to me. he had a bad game. we have cp3 who took over. the team won. and cp3 deserves credit where its due. its that easy. people can come up with all these reasons on why harden had a bad game. its a game of basketball. youre judged by your performance.
Most important game of his career... so far. That's until our deciding game in the finals in a few weeks right?
Yea so happy for him too. Now we just need everyone to play great and increase that intensity and shooting accuracy. I see Harden and cp3 going super saiyan haha going wild and carrying us. But we also need everyone to shoot better. I felt we been reserving are higher level plays for the gsw. Now it’s the time. Harden had his night cp3 had his today now they both gotta bring that and elevate everyone’s game too. Eric shooting % gotta be better he plays well against them. Capela gotta bring what he did against the first two series. Luc, tucker and Ariza gotta hit their open 3s and intensify their defense. We gotta be locked in. U feel maybe Ryan will get some minutes in the next series and see how his shooting is against them. We gotta try him too. His spacing is deadly it helps Harden. If Eric and Ryan get hot Harden will have an easier time driving in and everything will open up. Let’s go rockets. Last year I felt we needed someone more we relied a lot on Harden and when Harden and ego got lost we had no one else to carry us. Since we got cp3, Luc and tucker and having Ariza still here I felt since then we had what it took to win against gsw. Let’s get it.
The real CP3 came through with his leadership. I'm glad he yelled at the whole team after the 3rd quarter ended. Harden isn't like that. He does things more by example. He lifted us up against the Wolves when Chris uncharacteristically froze up in Game 1. We need them to be at their very best at all times against GS. That's a very tall order, almost impossible. EG and Capela are the biggest X-Factors, but we will need Ariza, Tucker, Luc and Gerald playing at a high level too. Go Houston Rockets! Give 100 percent effort in every game, that's all I'm asking for.
Give it up for 'the biggest loser of the offseason' for coming through big and taking his team to the conference finals.
Using BBall Reference's GameScore as a measurement, this was Paul's best playoff game ever (in 86 games), and his 7th best overall (in 978 games). GameScore only goes back to 1983, but last night's game shows up as the 5th highest rated performance in Rockets playoff history, and the highest in a close out win.
That is as one of the greatest quarters in rockets history. On the big stage and our best player feeling sick so Paul says no problem I’m here fellas. Just superlative stuff
are the suns a top 4 team in the west now? should be a fun situation for cp3 can he turn ayton into deandre? #valleyboyz
