By all appearances Rah Fell doesn't want to take back much talent or salary , he's going full tank mode and those picks owed OKC never convey. This is probably going to be a full on fire sale. @Ottomaton 10 win nightmare scenario coming true ....

I wonder if we are rebuilding or these two picks being moved with Westbrook to reshape the team.

 

To be fair those two players will end up probably being starters given the makeup of this team going forward. This will not be a good team. I don’t know which team will be worse next year Texans or the Rockets.

If you plan on moving James and Russ this year and rebuilding the RoCo trade is great. If you don’t move on from those two however... It’s ****ing stupid.

 

This draft is pure trash, especially in the middle rounds.

 

I'm sad that we barely got to see Covington in rocket red, but I'm good with this move. We clearly weren't good enough to compete for a title. OKC nearly beat us in the first round. We're capped out with no draft picks and few trade pieces. I don't see how we could build a championship roster around Harden at this point. Are we okay with first or second round exits for the rest of Harden's prime? Might as well blow up the team and get as much as we can for Harden while he's still elite.

The next few seasons will be rough. Unfortunately, we'll need to pray to the lottery gods to keep our picks out of OKC's hands. Tilman's desire to trade for Westbrook destroyed this team. What a dunce of an owner.

He’s going to absolutely **** whatever he touches up. I use to make fun of my Knicks fans who stopped supporting them because of Dolan. Now I’m understanding where they were coming from.
