He has a very high ceiling with some very legit red flags. He's not close to enough to trade Harden for right now, but I'd rather have him than any of the individual players the Nets can offer. I'd much rather have picks going out several years from the Nets than Denver though. In any event, the main point I was making is that Murray is borderline untouchable. Denver would probably trade Jokic before Murray now.
Tilman NEEDS to take control and say NO to this spoiled man. Then trade him for the most value we can get. Let Morey overpay like he always does but this time we are on the receiving side. Harden has zero leverage right now in terms of dictating what team the rockets could trade him to. The reason for that is simple... With two years left on his contract any team not on his preferred list would still be comfortable utilizing assets to acquire him. Next year however, the situation changes... Very few teams or circumstances would result in teams willing to relinquish substantial assets to trade for a 1 year rental.
The worst deal a team can make is to allow their best player to walk for nothing. Honestly this is what I want for TF. TF is a numbskull, but he isnt that stupid.

Once that passes you tell Harden...sorry bud we aren't trading you for nothing. Then make moves to improve the roster to compete for a championship.
Any trade you do from here forward needs to be to make this team more equal. Tucker to Miami Or Westbrook to the Clippers Or Harden to the Nets You need to build a complete team
There are multiple culprits in this, Tilman, Harden, Morey for catering to every demand of Harden and insisting on replicating GS style, D’Antoni for his ineffective coaching style, CP3’s hammy

If you let harden go to the Nets, you better have a third team. I do NOT want Kyrie. And otherwise, it's trash. Why does Harden think he can choose where to play? They may have a desire to play together, but this isn't the streets. Also, how did that work out for you last time, James?
