    It’s needed to build up the complete trust between Tilman and Rockets fans.

    I have two suggestions for real all-in.

    1. Sign Austin Rivers 1 year $10 million contract, and then trade him for a long term contract at the trade deadline.

    2. Use full tax MLE $5.7 million for a player and then trade him for a better player at the trade deadline.

    My suggestions have positive effect on everything except money.

    Will Rockets become the most aggressive team to upgrade the roster next two weeks?

    Will Rockets build up the best bench in the West?

    An S/T is theoretically possible with Rivers right now is possible, if he hasn’t opted out as yet. BimaThug informed me of this some time ago, but BYC rules could complicate things, along with TF’s reluctance to spend money. Signing and trading Rivers at the deadline doesn’t make sense. He simply won’t get any minutes here. The purpose of acquiring a player with the MLE is to add depth, not to acquire a star.
