Think we might be past that point.

Everything already went to **** when Tillman bought the team.

This isn’t news...this is obvious. This is the Rockets best shot at contention, obviously that is their preference.

it’s so damn sad that Fertitta is running everyone out of town. Daryl so it happening and got out in front of it...he knew James would leave sooner rather than later. Such a shame. Tillman reaps what he sows, with forcing the RW trade over Morey’s objection, but JH isn’t without fault. He mortgaged the future for one year with his buddy only to leave. Shame all around. The NBA is a joke anyways.

Maybe he's built different. He's not for running to stacked teams. Nobody cares what you want. He shouldn't have signed the contact. There is no evidence he is disgruntled anyway. LMFAO

Translation: Nets offered us their role players for Harden and Knicks offered us cap space for Westbrook. They might as well wait until mid year when other teams need a big shakeup.

You can not trade Harden without getting an all star or a high pick, preferably both.

Give Westbrook and Harden what they need to be successful, it's time to be leaders as an organization and players.

Get both a true center and PF who can defend, rebound, block shots and space the floor from three.

Rebounds, shot blocking and defense make wins easier and also pull out ugly wins when things get tough.

Create versatility in both offense and defense to change gears on opponents.

And if possible definitely get role players with championship experience.

    LETS GO ROCKETS

DO NOT TRADE TUCKER. See what you can get for Gordon. GO INTO THE LUXURY TAX.

    Trade Westbrook.

This is the correct public response to the avalanche of agenda laden media tools attempting to decrease value/create discord.

This owner is the biggest ****ing idiot in sports. He telegraphed the obscene arrogance he had from day one. I’ll openly admit that if the Rockets crash and burn the only solace I’ll take is that at least this pos will lose money and hopefully be one step closer to selling

The writing's on the wall. The owner was cheap AF before the pandemic and now it's 10x worse. Harden knows this is a sinking ship. MDA and Morey dipping was the first major clue. Tilman should seriously consider selling. When he loses Harden he also loses his cash cow. There is no way Tilman can save the current situation unless he opens his wallet and purposely ventures into LT territory. He can't afford it, so hopefully he folds. He should of never been allowed to purchase the Rockets. Reap what you sow Tilman Fertitta, you should of stuck with overpriced/forgettable food, get out while you can.

Disagree. He doesn't make excuses for the Rockets like Pancakes does for the Texans.

I would like to see them add either Ibaka or Millsap using the full MLE, resign both Greens (Jeff & Gerald) for the vet minimum, and then run it back:

    PG: Westbrook/Gordon
    SG: Harden/McLemore/G. Green
    SF: Tucker/House
    PF/C: Covington/Ibaka or Millsap/J. Green

And I believe that Russ is right - Harden needs to play off the ball more for both of them to be successful, and the organization needs more accountability. But can Silas make that happen?

I'd love to see what system Silas runs. He has no pressure from Morey to play the system of just launching threes

Well the comments from JF confirm that Harden isn’t happy, if anyone had any doubts. Almost no mention of Westbrook, but everything reported is there is no market for him... so possible that the Rockets are resigned to that fact.

I find it humorous that the Rockets believe they can make the moves to satisfy Harden. What moves are those? Even if TF spends, they are looking at basically only having the MLE. They don’t have any real draft picks they can easily move. They can move locker room turd Eric Gordon, but for what? He doesn’t have a lot of surplus value. They can move Tucker but with Westbrook, they already need defense.

They don’t even have a big expiring where they can make a deal for someone like the Lakers did today.

They can make a Gordon/Tucker for Horford deal... he gives you size, rebounding and some shooting... but does that move the needle? Who takes Gordon’s minutes?

Maybe they sign Nerlens Noel or try to trade for Mo Bamba... maybe scrape together a few contracts like House for someone like Doug McDermett.... sign Baynes with the MLE? Try to trade for Nance to play the 5? Make a trade for Dennis Smith?

That's the best/worst part of it.. Tilman is (allegedly) now willing to spend, when there's nothing left. He made his own bed.
