I am going to cheat a bit since some posters already mentioned some great music, so here is one of mine; blues rock for you.
By far, my favorite is I Feel Like Going Home by Muddy Waters. It's a very close relative of the legendary Walking Blues but I actually like it much better than than Walking Blues.
Saw him and the band in the Music Hall late in 1968. Green, Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwan, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood. Love Alvin Lee and this song, with George Harrison on slide guitar. Both gone. Reminds me of 1971 and the night I left Haarlem for the last time.
I highly recommend the alligator records compilations. They come out every five years, and they are double length CDs. Spotify has a playlist with all of them. Play it on random, and you’re in for a damn good time. Cocktails recommended.
