After what happened to Green in the playoffs I am not surprised he wanted out Immediately! I feel bad it was to OKC but still better than dealing with Lakers fans sending death threats.
Seems the league always bends to help the Lakers and Celtics. . . .esp the Lakers Some teams seem like they might as well be laker farm teams Rocket River
Schroder is a expiring contract and likely Thunder wasn't planning on resigning him. I'm pretty sure OKC wants to go full tank mode this year for the 2021 Draft. Getting a late 1st round pick and a expiring asset like Green is not bad. There's still a market for Green right now. You could probably flip him for a late 1st rounder right now. Like to Philly who needs shooting. Or the Bucks who need shooting too. Green is a career 40% 3 point shooter. He was crappy last year but he was fantastic in Toronto the year before. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/greenda02.html
He is talented and quick, but he can’t face PJ Tucker. Honestly, I would offer OKC Ro-Co for him, and then look for the best trade for RW, but they want picks. The league wants LAL to remain invincible.
Not really. The NBA always wants the biggest market to succeed. There is no doubt though that they love Lebron.
Ah, you're right! Not sure why OKC didn't explore the market more, then. An expiring contract attached to a 27 year old nifty PG who's averaging 19 coming off the bench should be worth a hell of a lot more than Danny Green and a low FRP.
Because first rounders typically sukc. Dont tell me you wouldn't have Morey than Stone. Morey can easily turn a bad situation around.
