One way to look at it: "We played so poorly, we can't play any worse, yet we're only down 6."

Another way to look at it: Lakers have missed 7 freethrows already, Malone is 1 for 9, Kobe only bothered to try to take ONE shot (hmm, you think he might crank it up in the second half?). Shouldn't we be UP by 6? At least?

Of course, using you're illogic, the Rockets had nothing to do with any of that.

It doesn't matter. SF will create his own turnovers reagardless what our role players do. Sure, the role players' performance matters. But that's why they call them role players. They need a leader.

Also, I think you missed those UNFORCED TURNOVERS. You know, that's when there's no pressure...and you just throw the ball out of bounds or step on the line, or whatever else SF can "think" of....

If Rox up by 6, I feel still unsafe to win a game. How many times they come back from behind against top team this season? I am not talking about road game yet.

The most important thing for Rox is to take care of the ball, build a big lead and hope they don't collapse in the fourth QT. Unfortunately we cound't do that.

And if you are saying our "STAR" point guard turnover the ball 5 times in the half, only score 5pts, allow payton score 11pts, and other players should share the same blame with him. It is just not fair.

If we're not ahead by the 4th, we'll lose this game. Malone and Kobe are end of game assasins, regardless of how they play the rest of the game.

Yes, Mobley is playing clueless too. But he's not running the team.

So many turnovers as usual. We are lucky to be down by only 6.The arguing in the huddle by Mobley was bad. If Cato had taken the 2nd foul that Yao got it might have been interesting.
We usually do very poorly in the 3rd quarter and Kobe can explode at any time.
It's the 1st time for us in the playoffs but we have to calm down, execute and play harder.

The Rockets sure did a lot to make them miss freethrows. Our defense was also so awesome that it scared Kobe into taking one shot.

All we can hope for is that all the play jitters they have are being released tonight leaving nothing left for the rest of this series.

Guys calm down, it could be ALOT worse, we're only down by 6 points! How many of you thought that we would be this close at the half? I sure as hell didn't. As long as we continue to play solid defense, we should be able to make a run in the second half. Just limit the turnovers in the second half and we'll be fine. BELIEVE!

Good interview with JVG, he actually seemed happy. He notices the team is playing hard, and that's all you can ask for.

That strip had a lot of contact, but it is playoff, Yao has to play through it.

Wow. Rockets simply didn't back down and kept playing physical defense. Lakers scored 2 points in 6 and half minutes. WOW!
