No there is the United States' law... and the Bobrek's copy and paste from wikipedia after hunting for something to throw out here that used the word president elect even though in such a situation that person isn't elected. You've been debunked and fact-checked. Sadly there is a contested election right now, so the reasonable expectation that one of them will be elected has to be put on hold. So in a jump the gun way, it can't even be used and that's not even official to call him that so early. Unless you're the biased media and Team Biden. Check your facts and check your biases son. As of posting this, still Friday the 13th, Joe Biden is still not the president elect.
You can actually find the bill and testimony if you Google. It says essentially what the Wikipedia article says. What do you have to dispute the actual bill other than your semantic argument?
You are sucked into the vortex of Newsmax, One America News and the like, who are profiting off of the cult of trump. Busy believing what they are pumping out, while they are busy enjoyed the advertising revenue. Bummer, dude. Maybe you'll wakeup someday, but probably not.
Um....The Election has been called by every reputable news source. By tradition, he is President-Elect.
It’s not a big deal. The big deal is there won’t be a smooth transition. But even that was pretty much a given no matter how small or large a victory for Biden.
There was an article from late 2017 about Trump being the only president in history that spent the most amount of effort trying to specifically undo things his predecessor did. It only got worse the past 2 years. What can Biden do to prevent this from happening again? Because of how trollish the gop has become, is the next 'gop' president going to come along and undo everything Biden did just for the hell of it? We all know the answer to that. Any possible solution to fix that other than win 5 more elections in a row? My wish list is pretty basic things all parties should want for their citizens: Beautiful more affordable healthcare for ALL and getting Dreamers on a path to citizenship, both things trump wanted as he claimed many many times. The wiping out college debt is a nice thought but It doesn't appeal to me as making college financially available for everyone or raising minimum wage would but that's another topic.
Less EO for starters. With so many EO by Trump, Biden can undo most of them on day 1. Bipartisan law. Not likely to happen. Unless the Dem win Congress, Biden is handicapped. Not much you can do in a highly partisan climate. I’ll be surprise if Biden can break through for some bipartisan support. But if there is someone who can, he’s probably the man given his many years of good relationship with Republicans. I always wonder if congress can be reformed to allow for a more simple majority vote and control on each bills instead of one person controlling the agenda and what can be brought up for a vote. If so, there will be many more bipartisan laws passed and at a much quicker pace. We would have less of a single person or small group of people holding the power to halt a bill.
Trump is going out the way he came in: A loser, a liar and a cheat. Whole world is watching and laughing.
Hate all you want but Joe Biden has not clenched it. When he is elected you can parade around all you want beating your chest.
