The way Trump is dealing with losing the election is very similar to the way he's reportedly handled his losses in business. He's seeking whatever legal loopholes he can to keep the gravy train floating for his cohorts and himself. Seriously, it's just par for the course for him. And I have to say, this denying the election's legitimacy is almost the perfect grift. If the other side finds ways or legal means to prove that the election was not fixed, it just energizes Trump's supporters more to believe in the existence of the "deep state." And this isn't coming out of the blue, either. Trump has been setting up this long con for months and months now. Grifters around the world must be in awe of what's happening.

Trump is not an idiot and actually is a very smart in a narrow range of things. I'm pretty sure he's known not just for months but for years that because of how polarizing he is that his re election was going to be tough. This is why he's been keeping up the message that the US elections are full of corruption. It doesn't matter whether that undermines the legitimacy of the Republican victories and ultimately even his Presidency. It's just another part of his long line of marketing scams.

you know, @Astrodome is not a bad dude. He’s not been a vocal trump apologist, but he admitted that, like 70+ million Americans, he voted for the guy. we can’t just insult all those people and hope that’s progress. Insult away at Trump or people lying for profit, but not all of those voters. just my take. It’s not kumbayah or whatever, just trying to not make things worse.
