    What Trump has yet to realize is the he has more power not being President than he does being President.

    He has full control of the GOP right now, and the presidency was actually cramping his style. Now he can be free and use his power to extract whatever he wants, and its 100% legal.

    Pretty much this. If Trump were to lead a revolt of some or all of the red states, he would be in breach of the Oath of office of the POTUS. Essentially, he would be impeached and most likely removed this time around.

    I don't think even Trump would go that far, but the guy is a loony so all crazy options are open.
