Broke down and bought the lg cx oled today. It’s 650 off right now on Best Buy for the 65 inch.

 

oh im not surprised im sure thats how he makes bank, plus right now is where he makes bank, 2 new consoles launches, hes gonna be all over it

 

Costco had the same deal with a better warranty.

 

I called in my warranty today for the tv I have now. Best Buy gave me a credit for the full price payed almost 3 years ago. Put it towards the new one but I could’ve spent it on anything.

Not saying Costco’s isn’t better but I’m unfamiliar with it. BB treated me good today.

What makes the Costco warranty better?

 

Is the 5 worth the upgrade from a 4?

 

They give you a 3 year warranty with them for free, but seeing as you got it from Best Buy, youre good. Ive also dealt with Costcos warranty service for an exchange and it was very easy and hassle free.

 

Oh no I paid for my warranty. Wasn’t aware that Costco’s gave you 3 for free. The cx I bought today I paid 400 for the 5 year.

 

From what I understand, Best Buy's warranty is the only one that covers OLED burn in (which probably won't occur). Costco's doesn't.

 

Good call on the TV and good call on the warranty (peace of mind) - although I hear LG is super friendly about returns out of warranty.

 

I was so impressed by the way they handled my claim today I felt like it was a no brainer to re up the warranty with them. They didn’t even want my old tv back told me to “dispose” of it myself. It’s still a good tv. P series 2018 one of the best gaming TVs of the year. I was just having a couple IMO minor issues but to completely replace the parts needed to make it perfect it was going to cost too much. It still works perfect 95% of the time. My daughters room just got a major upgrade.

 

Anyone have the new PS or XBox? How are you liking it? How is it compared to last gen's consoles? I just want to play a next gen fallout, ngl.

 

It's much stronger and games also load much faster due to the new SSD I/O approach.

But even if you want to replay PS4 games mostly, you'll have a ton of benefits. Basically all PS4 games will hit the framerate limit on PS5, load faster and have other improvements as well.

 

Not sure if it’s been mentioned here but did anyone else get the ps5 digital console from Walmart price glitched to $23? They actually shipped mine and have charged me the 23. Hoping they don’t fix it lol

 

Also side note, I had ordered a couple from target and on Thursday the FedEx guy marked them all delivered and stole 2 of them. He literally pulls them out of his truck and hands them to some guy , guessing his buddy, got it all on camera

 

It sucks they got stolen but that is some sweet justice having it on camera.

 

Yup luckily target is a great company and refunded me. Now just waiting for the police and FedEx to do something. I have a clear screenshot of him walking up to my door. Some dumb kid. Also considering sending the video to local news to spread awareness
