    Got my PS5 earlier this evening. I think it was delivered to a neighbor's house by mistake, but fortunately he brought it to my house right away.

    Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time to play with it. I was busy getting my daughter to sleep, and I'm a little too tired to play with it now that she's asleep.

    The little bit I played of Astro seemed pretty cool. Also played a minute of BUGSNAX.

    welp i Amazon'd a LG CX 65" today. ill get a ps5 in December. hopefully i can tell the difference in my 2009 Panasonic plasma to now the LG haha

    Bugsnax is a family game, so I needed to wait for us all to be awake and ready for it. Plus I want to be fully refreshed when my mind tries to comprehend the greatness that is BUGSNAX!



    I did about 20 minutes of Demon's Souls this morning. Yep, that's Demon's Souls. Just very, very pretty. And smooth.

    Of course, I cheesed it by picking the Royalty class and spamming soul arrows. :p I think I have the original guide around here somewhere...

    I'll try to check out a bit of Spider-man later. More Astro. And of course, more BUGNSNAX!

    On a side-note, I love the quick loading on most things. Not that I'm timing things, but I definitely don't feel like I'm waiting too long for most things. XSX/PS5 are great for that feature alone. :)

    Yeah, I just found out about Fuser just last week. The review I saw made it sound cool but looks like the controls are more for PC or Switch. I love Harmonix games but their publisher is sending this game out to die by releasing it now.

    I already owned it from when it was $5 digital some time ago.

    There's been various posts about people's PS5's bricking after data corruption or something. Using an external drive seems to be a potential common cause so I'm going to leave mine disconnected for now until there's more concrete information on what's really causing this.

    Oh man, you're going to tell the difference, especially in HDR/4K. BUT - shitty feed ESPN sports might look better on the plasma. I've never seen a TV beat plasma when it comes to low quality feed sports (which is a common thing, unfortunately).

    Aww man.... My new PS5 and Xbox both just bricked... And now I gotta wait til 2021 for them to repair it and return it. Yup, thats what Im going with...

    Well I ended up selling my extra PS5 on Craigslist for $900. I might put that towards a new OLED in the future.

    D'oh - I saw the posts you and Nick made earlier but figured if I'm going to be scummy and scalp, I'd rather profit off of a stranger.

    The fast loading in Miles Morales is great. On PS4 Spider-Man you spent quite a bit of time looking at the slow motion models of Spider-Man or him sitting on the subway during loading. On PS5 you load a save game and you're in the game flying around in a couple seconds.

    I wouldn't normally pay resale at $900, UNLESS, the cash was going to a fellow CF brother. Keep the $ in the community. 99ers support the local CF economy.

    I'm thinking I might not be able to land one in 2020.

    I went in the opposite direction -- finally found a Switch-lite on Amazon and went nuts burning all my old points. Once I realized they have all these remastered 'adult rated' games (Wild Hunt, Resident Evil, Metro, etc.) it was a must buy. Basically PS3/ 360 (+) quality in a handheld is pretty cool... a new cutting edge Xbox/ PS5 will have to wait. Plus I'm just to confused what kind of tv I need for those new systems... my Zenith might not be up to the task.

    Whoa NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered just arrived while I was posting this... hopefully it lives up to my hyped memories of the original.

    is there a website that tracks game deals across all platforms or at least the consoles? i know theres a few sites tracking pc game deals...but seems i gotta jump around to find sites that do consoles
