White Press Secretary: Trump to be inaugurated on January 20, 2021

Would not surprise me. I've been hearing for about 20 years now from the then future trump cult that Clinton was going to start a war so he could declare a state of emergency to stay in power. Obama was going to refuse to leave The White House. Now they finally have someone to get behind that will do all the things they tried to say the evil libs were going to do and they cheer it on.

 

The Chief Justice is in charge of swearing in the lawful President on Jan 20th. Any order that Trump issues after that swearing in will be an illegal order that the government can and will refuse. Any standing executive order can be lawfully reversed by Biden as well.

What Trump is doing now isn't much different then declaring martial law & sending federal martials into the public to do his bidding. Right now he's asking the courts to overturn the election... that's just exactly what he's doing. Declaring martial law would be stopped by the courts and he'd end up right where he is now.... asking the courts for approval for overturning the election.

He could still say screw the courts, and order Trump loyalist armed militias, national guard, police forces, etc. to surround the White House.... However again... as soon as Joe Biden is sworn in, he has the power to then order the 101st Airborne, Seal Team 6, and the Army Rangers to take back the White House. There's no national guard or militia that can compete with that firepower.

So a Coup just isn't going to happen at this point as long as the Courts hold in tact, and John Roberts swears in Joe Biden.
