Maybe it's the on court chemistry over there with no real playmaker.

You made me laugh! I'm not in favor of this suggestion at all, but the rest are much worse.

Would Phoenix do a deal involving Booker and Harden?

its not too bad. Let’s say it works out, ie Harden + George makes the nba finals. George probably re-signs, Tucker turns 37 the following year and you traded a late first.

If it doesn’t work, George is gone, but Tuckers contract would’ve been up anyway, and you probably keep your 2023 pick because you’re trading Harden.

yes, but why would Houston do that deal? Booker doesn’t move the needle.

if harden is gone, you go full Hinke on this roster.

nope. Booker is their harden and they're going to do everything they can to keep him. As they should, especially with their team as a whole trending up

Booker would be a rebuild. I wouldn't go full hinkie, if they can get Booker. Draft isn't a sure thing.

i'd do it without the future first round pick.
PG is a better fit for us.

I’ve also seen the rumor being just Westbrook for George + a first.

Unfortunately the Clippers pick situation is worse than ours. They have no first for the the foreseeable future.

To be honest, I think this is a fair trade and it works financially.

I would prefer adding Beverly and House to the trade if we cannot get a first.

    Harden / Beverly
    George / Gordon
    Covington
    Tucker
    Ibaka?

Not with Covington, no. Interesting rumor though.

Its like westbrook has negative value in this trade.
Westbrook for paul george straight up would be the only way.

Westbrook is still under contract for a few more years. Pg has an option after this year.

So all that for a 1 year rental and salary dump of west brook?

Gotta find a way to keep Roco! Guy is a game changer for us! He and Paul George would be what they thought Kawii and Pg was supposed to be defensively just because roco is low maintenance on offense. Roco shooting threes and being disruptive in the passing lanes with PG would be sick

PG13 is much better than Westbrook and a much better fit. Fortunately his playoff performance was almost as bad as Westbrook’s so maybe the Clippers can be fooled.

No such thing as a sure thing, regardless of what route we take.

What gives you the best odds of a championship? The Hinkie full on tank method.

Everything else being an ABSOLUTE ****ING DUMPSTER FIRE aside - if you managed to keep Covington and had a Cov+PG+Harden core. That's sexy.

I believe that PG is a great fit with Harden. Dude can defend and hit 3's. However, there is no way we trade Westbrook, RoCo and a pick for him. Westbrook for PG straight up is ideal.

The odds of getting someone as good as harden whenever that time is, by going full on tank mode is not better than when you already have him.

So my grand plan would be to offer Westbrook and House and a 1rst rd pick for pg-13 and pat bev
Then try to trade Gordon and our other available 1st to Detroit for a sign and traded Christian wood.
i think Wood would agree because he is making the amount of money Gordon makes plus he knows we really want him since we tried trading for him at the deadline last seaso. Detroit I believe would agree because no matter what they are stuck with Blake Griffin so they might as well try to surround him with good players and make a go in the East with him rose and Gordon. Plus they get a 1st rd pick and they at least get that instead of letting Wood leave and get nothing.
    Then try to sign Ibaka

    Wood/Ibaka
    Covington/pj
    Pg-13
    Harden
    Bev
