George for Westbrook and Covington doesn’t work financially. George, Beverley, and Zubac for Westbrook and Covington works financially. We could also throw in House if needed
Woah, that would be a big trade of course...the bad thing about that trade imo, is that George is expiring (player option), so it would most likely a rental unless Harden can convince him to resign. But while it would suck to lose Rob, i still think George would be an upgrade for us, pretty much Rob on defense and much better than Westbrook on offense. I would want the Rockets to get something more back though, maybe Kabengele so: George + Kabengele + Beverley for Westbrook + Covington Then again, George is expiring, the Rockets should have some leverage because of that. Also this:
I want Kawhi with James too, but I’m not willing to part with FRP’s anymore. We have to look to the future too. Kawhi can stay in Clippers land.
I am for Kawhi, Giannis or AD. If Kawhi wants out and they can get RoCo and Russ for him which would convince PG to stay it makes sense for all parties. I hope James is in Kawhi’s ear.
https://tradenba.com/trades/CpAskymkz Another option is to take on more salary and send out House instead of Eric. Jrue Harden / Ben MC House / Nwaba RoCo / PJ Drummond That's a pretty good start to the team.
I can settle for Ro-Co and Russ for Kawhi. We can retain all of our future 1st rounders. House isn't as good as Ro-Co, but he is good enough, baring the loss of shot blocking. Perhaps Silas can help him with tough love. Pick up Noel with the MLE after that, if it's within the rules. I would go after Ryan Broekhoff with the vet minimum for additional depth. Try to trade EG and Clemons for Brogdon. So many fantasies lol. Addendum: We need good role players even if we can't get big names. Noel, Giles, if fit, Broekhoff. I'm not keen on Tate, unless he is a defensive stud in the making. Maybe Silas's connections can breathe some fresh air into our team.
Wow that's a terrible trade for the Knicks. Also, I don't want Drummond. I don't like having a guy in my starting lineup who can't play at the end of close games.
I'd consider buying low on PG13... It would be damn tough to part with Robert Covington. No way we include a pick.
stop overrating the Knicks assets. They are the worst team in the NBA. This is an all time bad draft. They get two stars that will make them a playoff team while keeping their best asset. This place is full of people overrating awful teams.
I want to clarify what I meant. Russ will be good for MSG, but Kevin Love is finished. Robinson is better than Love.
I think Russ is worth Mitch, Frank and #8. Love would just be there to fill seats with a big name. Randle isn’t very good. I like getting Mitch and Jrue more but the trade I listed has bigger names and clears cap next year.
I'll settle for Mitch, Frank and the 8th for Russ. Who do you think would be a good future fit for Houston with the 8th in this relatively weak draft?
