The firms he has hired are extremely well thought of. They are very careful about what they say and do in court and in their briefing. They also know they will lose, but the money is exceptional and the motions are really not a priority for the lawyers. The appellate filing errors were not because the attorneys are bad, it is because the assistants typed them up and little attention was given by the managing attorney to make sure they would be accepted at the appellate court.
