Hopefully she's innocent in this but in Texas you can be fired without cause. If there is a cause and the case goes to trial it'll come out Unfortunately its just a push up bra
Y'all are still following the clown show at NRG? Ha. Can't relate. Having Sundays back is so liberating!
Thought I'd come into the Texans forum to escape the meltdown that is the Houston Rockets. From looking at all the tweets in this thread, it seems like the Texans could use a good PR person.
And yet you read about them and post about them in a thread about their VP of communication in a sub-forum dedicated exclusively said clown show at NRG?
Right. The "cultural fit" was that Easterby wanted her back in the kitchen and not the locker room. This team has gone full-blown Bud Adams...
Sorry to disagree but if this is the case then it has the stench of absolute cluster****. I thought this was about winning football games and not trying to return to the good old days when white men ruled, white women stayed in the kitchen and black people "knew" their place. If I'm Deshaun, I'd start looking for a way out before it's too late. JJ is as good as gone and I wish him well. The McNairs seem bound and determined to make Ol' Bud Adams proud.
Whether she has a case or not, hope the truth gets out and Cal's hand is forced in one way or another. I don't know how much the Easterby factor will effect a GM/Coaching hire, but the fact that we are even talking about it is enough for me.
I went through and survived a 14-win Rockets season, a 32-point collapse in one half by the Oilers, and a pandemic (so far)... I can do anything.
When the firing is as comical and stupid as this one was...yes. But they’re not ruining my Sundays anymore!
So now I am supposed to care about the PR person? Give me a break. This is just another opportunity to slam the 2-6 Texans. If the Texans were 6-2 and in 1st place I doubt many people in here cares about the PR person getting fired.
If she were head of PR for the Astros in October 2019, there's a good chance the entire trajectory of the franchise would be different today, and Lunhow/Hinch would still be leading the team.
