I bought a pair of shoes from there last year because I could not find anywhere else, I did not have a great experience. I had the shoes on hold because they did not have my size and thought I would get an alert before they charged me, but they did not, that was ok because i wanted the shoes so bad. Jordan 2 low bred. and then i did not realize how many fees were added. The shoes came in and they looked good but the packaging was suspect, I buy shoes from DHghate all the time and it looked like the same packaging. My question is are some of these shoes from china and they just sell them through Stock X because there is no way they can have the inventory of sizes and rare shoes they have just by the resell market. I don't mind if they do but there "verification" system is highly suspect.
I've made 2 purchases off StockX. Gold Toe 1's & Westbrook's Frankenstein Jordan 31s. The fees are clearly defined. But they absolutely do have a history of shenanigans with selling fake shoes and there's not a lot you can do about it. They're just a broker, so they say, but their quality control is not perfect. Fakes slip through. It's a common complaint. I recommend disputing it with your credit card company. There's not much else you can do. Their customer support is not friendly and they will actively try to duck paying you back.
I'm ok I will just not buy from them anymore. So did you get new old stock or resell shoes? Any difference on GOAT? I want some Iversons but can't find my size?
I was upset because I paid premium for the 1's but did not get a 10/10 shoe which is what they more or less advertise. It COULD have been new, maybe, but man.... it was hard to tell. GOAT is for the poors. Lol, JK JK! I cant speak to GOAT.
interesting. the fees are there and it goes from a listed price to a higher price quick. you see it though i bought some jordan 3 2011 black cement from stockx i ordered them first time and order was cancelled due to fake or quality control issues. they didnt specify reason. full refund. it took about a month from when ordered to when refunded...i ordered same again and same thing happened. the 3rd time i ordered price kept going up but finally i got an email saying they had issues but had found a supplier and all good. so it took 3 times and 4 months to get them. i received them fairly recent when i was going through an 80s purchase phase and bought a swatch and town and country surf shirt as well. so the shoes are cool but something seems off. i wouldnt be surprised if they have been slightly used. they seem like maybe they were on display or something. maybe like faded in the sun almost. certainly if worn it couldnt have been much..almost feels like it could have been a display pair. they look great and feel nice. im able to dunk wearing them. im at part where if used or fakes im ok with it since they are damn good fakes. i dont see scuffs or wear but they seem stale too. i suppose if from 2011 makes sense. it just feels like it would be a lot of effort to fake for a job good done and while they are up there with highest price ive ever paid for shoes ...i think all things being equal the benefit of doubt is they are real. im happy with them and overall happy with stockx if some jordan expert tells me they are fakes i wont cry. i think they look how they are supposed to. i wouldnt break bank there though either. internet is the internet.
Believe me some "Fakes" are better quality than originals. I you like the look and they feel good it does not matter and unless an expert is doing carbon dating or paint analysis they would not really know. I respect sneaker heads and what they want but I just want the older shoes that I thought were cool back in the day. Kicks cost way to much these days I remember when 60 to 75 was the median price.
I finally looked at all the pics and those are definitely used but still look great. I have really been a fan of the ones but I like that color.
