I'm taking the Knicks deal and getting JRue with the 8th pick. I honestly think that should be the play.
I'd take all of them except Cleveland though if necessary would still take that. Why would any of the other teams do it?
I’m sorry to say I think you guys are out of your ever loving minds to think we will get positive value back for WB. I’d consider Rozier + #32 a win at this point. Would create a 22 mill TPE.
Wiseman isn't a given to be there at the 3rd pick though...he would be my main target too but first i don't think we would get the 3rd pick, second, we might not find him there, and i doubt the Rockets can trade up with the Warriors...unless they trade Covington lol. I think the realistic asset we would get is either Bridges or Washington, especially considering they pretty much play the same spots (3/4), i can see Charlotte being ok moving one of them.
Lol, Lillard and Westbrook playing together? That's not happening. I also really much doubt Indiana gives up Brogdon and Turner for Westbrook, more likely Oladipo (expiring), SacTown has Fox, why would they trade for Westbrook? And trade Hield for him? makes no sense. The only one that seems realistic to me is Cleveland, but i don't want Love.
Well IND is in turmoil right now. Oladipo wants out and reportedly has asked other teams if he could play with them in front of his teammates. Turner wants out as well and they have Sabonis as well. As for Portland, I don’t think that deal is happening. They do need to ask themselves though is McCollum and Dame enough to get them to a finals? I don’t think so. For Cleveland, they have wanted to move on from Love but I’m not sure they want someone like WB. Don’t they have Sexton? I think they need to go full on youth movement. I don’t think Sacramento is trading Hield at this point. Rumor is the new GM loves him and doesn’t think he was used properly. Plus the fit next to Fox isn’t ideal. Charlotte is actually more likely there.
Monk, Bridges, Batum #3. That's reasonable if Wiseman is still there. @Vivi you are severely underrating Russ. Look at what the Rockets gave up for him a year ago. A team who is desperate to make the playoffs will pay. Not a real contender though.
I'd take Monk but more as a filler personally, he isn't a bad player, but he has been in the league for 4 years now and couldn't even do much in a poor team like Charlotte, i don't think he has much potential left, probably just another B-Mac.
Jrue is a big upgrade defensive and would fit harden well because he moves well without the ball, which is what Silas wants to do. JJ speaks for itself. Icing on the cake with a pick out of it. Make it happen!
I will be. I'm positive if we trade Russell Westbrook we will be better than before. It will not be a deal that does not improve the team. We don't need his skills here. Plenty of other teams tdo.
I want Dipo and Turner. I don’t really care what it takes to get it done. Maybe Indiana is willing to throw in TJ Warren? This is probably too big of a trade for just two teams and Indy would need to fill out their front court a bit but their guard rotation would be great and they would gain a pick. Houston would have a great rotation after the trade. Indy in: WB, Gordon, PJ, House and the 2022 frp Houston in: Dipo, Turner, TJ Warren, McDermott and Lamb Indy rotation: WB/McConnell/Holiday Brogdon/Gordon/Holiday House PJ/Leaf Sabonis Houston rotation: Dipo/McLemore Harden/Nwaba TJ Warren//Lamb RoCo/McDermott Turner
I'm not mad at this trade, On the other hand I feel like the Knicks have all the reason to gut there Roster for Westbrook. The Knicks have been looking for a Star for years now, In there eyes u get Westbrook, ticket sales go up, More Television appearances, and U keep the Knicks as the top brand in New York with a Westbrook/Durant rivalry, plus they have the cap to sign another star to pair him with. Russ would average a triple double in New York and the the Media out there would love him for that, and his love for fashion would would be a great match. Westbrook is still a All Star, I'm not taking crumbs in return. If u want him New York, u gonna have to pay for him
https://tradenba.com/trades/804225B_k Another variation of the Knicks - Pelicans - Rockets trade. I think the Pelicans only need a Pick and some expiring contracts. This is less value than my Frank + Kevin + Mitch + #8 trade. DSJ knows Silas and could be a future player in the NBA. The only think I need from the Knicks is #8 and Mitch. Everything else can be changed as needed. That trade will create an exception large enough to SNT for FVV if Jrue is not added to the deal. It may even clear enough cap up to do so as well.
Here is the PERFECT Trade for all parties!! Indiana Gets: Russell Westbrook Houston Gets: Oladipo and Turner Plus Oladipo wants out!
Phoenix - Chris Paul OKC - Russell Westbrook Houston - Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre, 1st rnd pick from Phoenix, 1st rnd pick from OKC
