I think we'll win this series. This will be the year the Lakers are looked down upon. After winning the Pacific division and the 2nd seed in the tough Western Conference, with 4 future HOFer's on their team, they will be PUT out and embarrased by the Rockets. This is the last year of the "Lakers" as we know them. Malone will retire next year. Kobe will be gone. Shaq is going to have a tough time winning all those games without someone so dynamically talented like Kobe is.

He is the worst commentator ever. Why does he have a job? He knows preciously little about the league right now. I remember one time someone asked about a player (who was a big name player as I remember), and everyone went around and said something, and when it came to him, he was like "well... i don't really know much about him so I can't say." I mean c'mon! What a doofus.

I prefer that annoying guy that sits on the left.

Although I hope you're right, I don't see the Rockets winning more than 2 games in this series. The Lakers in the playoffs are a much better team than in the regular season. But not all is bad, I think losing badly will help the Rockets in the long run.

I like Bill's attitude.. time for the leagues top defense to show something .. and our 2 All Stars to step up big time.

Listen man, Bill lambier knows plenty. He won two championships with the Pistons and was an emotional leader for that team. Just because he doesn't sound sophisticated and likes to put things simply does not mean he does not know what he's talking about. Bill Lambier does know what he's talking about and when the Rockets win in 6 you will respect and admire him for the rest of your days.

Oh man, they just asked Bill again thinking he was 'delusional'. He again said Rockets in six.

    Greg Anthony: WHY????

    Bill: YAAAAAOOOOO

They went on a for little bit on how they think Bill is really delusional and stating that the Rockets aren't 'mentally ready' for the playoffs.

Then Bill dropped the bomb: 'How many of you have won a championship?'

No one questioned that (as they burst out in laughter) and then Bill reminded the idiots that he has two. He even said he had a WNBA championship.

Man, this guy IS getting to be my favorite journalist, but I must say I was wondering how anyone would choose Houston on national TV.

Maybe if the series was played under "Combat Basketball Rules":

You mean he just flat out said "Rockets in 6"? Last time I heard from him, he said that IF Yao can contain/cancel out Shaq then he picked Rockets in 6. What I found interesting is that he said that otherwise (even if Shaq dominated) he'd take the Lakers in 7. Good to see someone in the media has a little faith in the Rockets defensive abilities (although they seem to have been slack, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt).
