    Knicks In:
    Westbrook, Love
    Knicks Out:
    Randle, Payton, Frank, Dotson, #8

    Cavs In:
    Payton, Randle, Gordon
    Cavs Out:
    Love, Drummond (opt-in)

    Rockets in:
    Drummond, Frank, Dotson, #8
    Rockets out:
    Westbrook, Gordon

rockets cut about 7m, get Drummond and 3 young players. Knicks get their star duo and still keep RJ and Robinson, Cavs get 3 good role players for essentially just Kevin Love.

Keep hearing rumors about a Russ and PG swap...not sure I would be willing to do this but:

    HOU: PG and Jamychal Green
    LAC: Russ

I LOVE the potential of this kid.

He is like Capela as roll/lob threat but with the vision and handles of a guard.

Very similar size as well - 6'10 with 7'4 wingspan.

    And still only 22.

A 7'0 Bamba/6'10 Giles center combo for the Rockets would be beautiful.

    https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/11/1...ell-westbrook-clippers-and-knicks-interested/

These Westbrook trade rumors just will not go away.

My 2 scenarios - 1)Trade Russ to Clips & 2) Trade Russ to Knicks.

    Trade Option #1
    LAC: Russ Westbrook, Danuel House
PHI: Jrue Holiday, Paul George, Lou Williams
NOP: Tobias Harris + 76ers FRP
ORL: Kelly Oubre, Lou Williams, Josh Hart + Rockets FRP
    PHX: Markelle Fultz
HOU: Ben Simmons, Jonathan Isaac, Matisse Thybulle, Mo Bamba

Harden, Thybulle, RoCo, Simmons, Bamba, Isaac, EGo, PJ, Nwaba, BMac

    Trade Option#2
    NYK: Russ Westbrook, Danuel House
    BOS: Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb
IND: Gordon Hayward, Dennis Smith Jr., BMac
ORL: Victor Oladipo, RJ Barrett, Robert Williams
HOU: Aaron Gordon, Bobby Portis, Mo Bamba, Frank Ntilikina

Harden, EGo, RoCo, AG, Portis, PJ, Ntilikina, Bamba, Nwaba

Has there ever been a 6 team trade in NBA history?

I like Giles a lot, but he has a history of knee injuries. I’m still somewhat keen on him, but I’m leaning towards Noel right now.

I can't tell if you've expertly returned a subtle bit of sarcasm my way or if you really believe this. Well played.

The center position has become a specialized position. Dictated by situational circumstances.

Like in baseball pitching. Starters are asked to go 5 innings and then the team needs middle relief specialized
in pitching the 6 th and 7th inning.....then a pitcher specialized in shutting down the 8th inning. Not your closer
but almost as good. Then your closer comes in to pitch the 9th inning.

Well in the NBA there are a few low post centers that a team worries about. I don’t understand the high demand
for a full time big for a part time need? I googled top NBA centers and this is what I got:

    1) Jokic..............19.9 pts.....9.7 rebs
    2) Embiid...........23.0 pts....11.6 rebs
    3) KAT................26.5 pts.....10.8 rebs
    4) Gobert............15.1 pts.....13.5 rebs
    5) LMA................18.9 pts.....7.4 rebs
    6) Porzingis.........20.4 pts.....9.5 rebs
    7) Drummond......17.7 pts....15.2 rebs
    8) Myles Turner...12.1 pts......6.6 rebs
    9) Vucevic...........19.6 pts.....10.9 rebs
    10) S Adams......10.9 pts........9.3 rebs
    11) Marc Gasol....7.5 pts (19/20)......9.1 pts (18/19)...........15.7 pts (17/18)......a steady decline.
    12) Brook Lopez...12.0 pts.......4.6 rebs
    13) Capela.............No worries. Just lob dunks.
    14) Valaciunas.......14.9 pts.......11.3 rebs
    15) Ayton................18.2 pts.......11.5 rebs

So on this list you worry about Jokic, Embiid, KAT, LMA, Drummond, Vucevic, Valaciunas, Ayton.

8 players.....5 didn’t make the playoffs.....2 didn’t get out of the first round.......Jokic got to the WCF but Denver
gave up more points to Lakers than the team with no center (Houston). 114 points per game to Rockets (111 pts).

Nurkic/Whiteside/Collins gave up about 117 points per game to Lakers. Isn’t the idea that the big men stop the big men
and limit the opposing team to fewer points? Not in the playoffs when a team can go smaller and run the big off the
court. Or in the Lakers go with a unicorn named AD. A mismatch for every team.

Draymond, Durant, Giannis, Harden are mismatches for every team. Dort did well one on one against Harden; but
his help defense behind him helped slow down Harden. If Dort had no backup help defense, Harden would have figured
it out and torched Dort for 40 per game or more. But Dort directed Harden one way or another to funnel Harden
to the 2nd tier of defenders. Every good player requires a team effort to stop....or limit the damage. Both
of small forwards can help corral AD/LeBron.....mix in a PF here and there.

AD is the same. PF’s guard AD when he plays PF......when he moves to Center.....we move our PF to center..

When Durant moves to center in the playoffs......we move our PF to center.

When Giannis moves from PF to center.....we move our PF to center......help defense to surround him......them.

Tucker is just a little small......an AD creates just enough space to get the ball above his shoulders and then has
no fear of shooting over Tucker within 8 feet of the basket. It’s was our help defenders that were too small.
6’3” Westbrook, 6’3” McLemore, 6’3” EGo, 6’3” Rivers.......that was no contest for AD and LeBron.

A Christian Wood, Ibaka, Adebayo, Baynes, Siakim, Ben Simmons, Mitchell (Knicks), Portis, can be your full time
center as long as they don’t get pushed too far under the rim. Meyers Leonard, Markieff, JaVale MeGee, Dwight Howard,
Dwight Powell, WCS, Zubac,.........Myles Turner (still not sure?).

Teams want that versatile player that can play and guard 3-4-5 position like a Swiss Army knife........because the kids coming out of High school college will and can very very soon.

Losing Morey still hurts but I will pray to the altar of Rafael Stone if we can somehow get Christian Wood.

Is there any aaaany chance at all Detroit would be down for an SnT with Gordon so we can pay this guy. He'd be sooo perfect for this team.

    1) PJ + Gordon + picks for Myles Turner + TJ
    2) Westbrook for Pat Bev + Marcus Morris + Jamychal Green (Green and Morris either need to opt-in or sign and trade)
    3) Re-sign Jeff Green with vet min or BAE
    4) Sign one of Dragic, Clarkson or Hood with tMLE

Starters: Beverly, Harden, Covington, Morris, Turner

My perfect blowup scenario (works on trade machine and puts us $10 mil below tax apron)...

Rockets get: Paul George, Patrick Beverley, Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner, Landry Shamet, Doug McDermott, Enes Kanter, (2) Celtics first round picks

    Celtics get: Harden

Pacers get: Gordon Hayward, Eric Gordon, Celtics late 1st round pick

Clippers get: Westbrook, Marcus Smart, PJ Tucker

New Rockets with 3 point percentage
    Oladipo, Pat Bev (38%)
    Shamet (41%), BMac (40%)
    PG (41%), House (36%), Nwaba
    RoCo (35%), McDermott (43%)
    Turner (34%), Kanter
Also, bring back Gerald Green (36%).

That gives us 8 shooters (4 at 40%), plus a big that can shoot if needed. 5 really good defenders in Bev, PG, RoCo, Nwaba, and Turner. We get cap room and draft picks.
