Again, Rockets need BOTH a stretch 5 (Bruno) as well as a traditional roll/lob threat (Giles).

exactly. optionality. we need someone for every situation. ideally we could find a 3&D center but those options are limited and expensive. if we can't get turner, horford, ibaka, wood, nance, or even dieng, then go for one offensive and one defensive center. this way pj can lower his minutes and come off the bench.

Did he say the Blake thing was connected to the Rockets in particular? He's a Russ guy and had Rockets news a lot this off season but he's never claimed to be a Rocket's guy. His earlier scoops were all over the league.
