    I met Tommy Heinsohn at Randy Quaid's World's Biggest Party that was held at the Astrodome complex in 1989. He was super friendly and down to earth,

    that's good to hear.
    I had never liked his announcing b/c I was a Rockets' fan and a Sixers' fan, and he seemed so pro-Boston as to be ridiculous.

    But he also seemed like a decent-enough guy, separate from that, and he knew his hoops.
