What can Biden do to unite the country vs. divide?

#1 post dip$hit's tax returns online on Facebook, Twitter, Parler (for his supporters), and billboards across the nation.

Pursue, investigate, and prosecute the dip$hit and his minions for every crime committed before, during, and after his presidency.

 

Unfortunately Republicans don't want unity or to work together, they want power. So there is nothing Biden can do other than give the presidency to Trump.

 

I'm over this ****. Biden is gonna get inaugurated but Trump will never concede. He will act like he's in exile and will tour the county pretending he's still President and make his base angry. People will get hurt.

 

We need to find a way to work together or what’s the point of the United States when we don’t unite. Nobody has the answers because no one will offer to sit down and look at each other in the eyeball ...if we can’t then just divorce the US and redraw the country into two might the the eventuality..there is too much distrust, hate and anger going on and social media isn’t helping

 

It’s kinda like a marriage, if you hate living with the other half so much why stay in the marriage?

There's nothing Biden can do to unite lunatics like these. What he needs to do for the sake of the future of this country and justice is to investigate and charge every act of criminality in this administration. The reason elected officials and corporate actors for that matter keep doing nefarious **** is because none of them go to prison.

That's actually funny. Last I checked, Nancy was trying to bail out the blue states in her Coronavirus bill. My buddies and I were looking for a riot to attend...err, peaceful protest. Then we realized we couldn't. We all have to work so we can feed our families and pay our taxes to feed the welfare state.

You’re not going to unite the country it’s too large and far too diverse to get people to agree on anything. Remember 9/11 or Watchmen? The only way to unite people is against an outside threat.

Biden should EO student loans day 1. There is already momentum and use the COVID crisis to help smooth it over. Continue to work on the free college plan.

Infrastructure bill should be next. Create a ton of jobs via the tax increase on those earning more than $400k and corporate increase. This should be a HUGE bill. Not just roads and bridges but rural broadband and inner city revitalization. Get people working to clean up blighted areas. Think broken windows theory. Reduce crime and create jobs win win.

Open up Medicare as an opt in. There are plenty of 50-64 year olds who are desperate for affordable insurance and would jump at the chance. Keep repeating it’s an OPTION not a government takeover. As people use it they will realize that they actually have much more control over their healthcare than they did under private HMO rationing via Aetna, Cigna and their ilk.

 

I'm not looking for Biden to do much uniting for us. Some things a president can't do. I won't lay all the blame on the Trumpers because it does take two to tango. But we're in a vicious circle at the moment and I don't think anyone can break it even if they wanted to. Maybe things change over the long term. One thing I think might help is if the parties split and re-align along a different axis. Some of the old acrimony would have to retire.

You realize the vast majority of tax dollars come from blue states and horribly run democratic cities right? You take those out and America would be a very poor country.

We're not dividing the country. Look at the election map by county. This isn't just red states and blue states. It's much more mixed than that. Even if you divide the states you're not going to move Austin, Houston and Dallas out of Texas just like you're not going to move the Central Valley out of CA. or cut off Upstate off of NY.

For that matter if we're talking about economic survival How well do you think the TX economy would survive cutting out Austin, Houston and Dallas out of TX?
