    This man did the right thing by not going through with some of Trump's demands. He should get credit for that. And I am pretty sure he doesn't give a flying f about whether he moves out of his office now or in a couple of months.

    Despite Esper being a dipshit himself, he at least had a modicum of qualifications; the defense of our nation is currently headed by a dude, Christopher Miller, who until very recently was nothing more than a mid-level staffer.

    Esper publicly pushed back on Trump for wanting to invoke the insurrection act to squash the protests. He wasn't fired immediately because there was an election. If Trump had won, there would be no one left except mindless loyalist.

    This worries me more than anything for some reason. He’s replacing all of these folks with people that are loyal to him as well which is even more worrisome.

    He, obviously, wants military leaders that are on his side...why?
