What I find hilarious is that all the Bush V Gore GOP lawyers are just jumping at the opportunity to come forward and be like "See... weren't bad at all!!" When the Bush lawyers are seizing an opportunity to look like the good guys and get some PR work in, you know its bad.
...is Chuck Woolery on that list of "celebrities we're not supposed to listen to" somebody mentioned somewhere?...
yeah they got the brandishing intimidating down pat pretty good though i expect violence like the guys they already caught the other day. there will be issues for sure. this slowly pushing them off the ledge approach seems to be helping and this slow cook has people jumping ship without that reactionary shock. we will see and if you are right I will gladly eat crow and be wrong. comparing it to civil unrest around a race issue is weird but making strange moral connections while supporting p***y grab is what makes you guys better gymnast than mary lou retton and jenna jameson
It is working it's way through the courts. Why were the buildings boarded up? Somebody was about to go bonkers. It wasn't us country folk. Non-violent
So I was thinking of a modification to the electoral college. For instance 52% of registered voters voted for Trump in 2020 in Texas. 46% voted for Biden, yet the entire 50 electoral college votes swings red and imagines full deferred support for a candidate when in reality that isn't the case. So instead of awarding a full 50 electoral college votes, why not award the closest equivalent of 52% of 50 electoral college votes? That would come to 26 electoral college votes for Trump, 23 for Biden, and 1 vote I'm guessing for the libertarian and independent candidates that were written in. I wonder if the total would still get you over the hump at 270 if you divided up electoral votes based on % of votes in each state for either candidate. I was just trying to think of a way to get more representation for my vote in the state of Texas and your conservative leaning types whose votes get squashed entirely in states like California and New York. This way you still preserve the electoral college but it also at least aligns closer to the popular vote too. In my head it seems like a reasonable compromise but I'm sure it has it's pros/cons just like any voting model does.
More like faceplanting into the courtroom door. Turns out that Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe don’t even know how to file an appeal.
mcconnell and the retrumplican party are attempting to destroy our American democratic process in order to keep an unpopular and incompetent president in power. "preliminary results"? Ridiculous.
