so is george w. bushs. trump will undoubtedly go down as the most un-presidential president we have ever had, but i really think GWB was worse for our country and the world than trump. from dismissing the August 2001 PDB entitled "bin laden determined to strike the U.S." to lying us into the war in Iraq, which resulted hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dead, drained our treasury and almost 20 years later we still have a presence there. tanking our economy leading to the great recession that started in 2008.
Agreed. We’ll appreciate what an unmitigated failure he was and his memory will serve as a warning shot to young voters to stay engaged because he showed how quickly things can go south if they don’t. edit except for the harden comparison. If you watch harden and can’t appreciate his greatness right now then you don’t know what the **** you’re talking about.
i agree in the sense that he will bring positive reforms. same way someone got kidnapped and we came up with law etc. that was applied to future kidnappers https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Kidnapping_Act
They will call it what it is, the beginning of the end of the American empire. Rapid and unchecked income inequality, like it always does, corrupts governing systems and ends empires. Massive wealth, stacks the deck in thier own favor, influences disproportional policy, creates unrest...this is a death spiral. This is not new, the only fresh flavor here is the influence of media mechanisms.
