oh..They certainly were not objective considering they were out there cheering every time Biden got new votes.

But they also allowed in their prime program a GOP senator to excuse trying to topple democracy which to me was inexcusable.

My biggest takeaway from watching CNN is that americans are obsessed with lawsuits. Most of the ads were about how to sue other people.

Bringing Civics classes back into school would help with the younger generation. Tailor some of the classes to how to fact check and verify.

i have some younger employees who are fresh out of college.

Even something as simple as google searching for research (actual work) purposes they just are not very good at. Maybe because they never had to put effort into it?? You know do more than one search to research a topic.

I was explaining this to my wife and basically telling her how I’ve been googling almost as long as most of them have been alive and it made her feel really old lol

    I disagree.
Hatred sells. Division sells. Fanatism sells. Conspiracy theories sell. Nationalism sells.

    Love? Meh...

What happened in America isn't the normal. If you see in history and around the world,
It's not that the good guys don't win. They do..but after a long of time of the bad guys winning.

That's why you should be proud of yourselves.

People say how can 70 million people vote for Trump? He wasn't supposed to be so close.

BUt the reality is the opposite.
He was supposed to win and it was only due to americans showing an extraordinary sense of duty towards their democracy and due to external circumstances in a once in a century pandemic that he lost.

Great point. I’m in a similar situation at work as my bosses and coworkers rely on me to find things; my kids and wife often come to me to find things on the internet because I’m so good at it. I’m slowly working on the kids, but my wife does it mostly to annoy me because she’s doing it for 20+ years.

I don't know who would find his joke funny about why women are paid half of what men do is because he insinuated they are stupid.

It's funny because everyone in the room knows it's discrimination (well, depending on control variables, that's debatable, but no need to go down that hole) or it's accepted as the baseline truth. That's why it's funny. Maybe I'm bad at explaining American humor.

exit polls were mainly done with Republicans since they were the majority at the polls,so you using exit polls is an outlier and in no way reflects the majority of voters.

And even then the economic came down to opening up the economy vs getting a hold of covid.

You certainly go like to cherry pick.

But they did not like Bernie so everything you posted was irrelevant to the discussion of how Bernie could win.

This is not a question why would they but why didn't they and what that meant for him as a candidate.
