I agree with the first paragraph, but I disagree with the second one. Harden has improved a lot over the years. He didn’t let Chris Paul’s departure effect him. He is putting the team first, look at his defense in the playoffs.
At this point I just think a lot of people are trying their hardest to ignore the fact he was a good GM, so they can paint a false picture of where this franchise is headed so they can feel warm and fuzzy inside. People blaming him for the Rockets having no draft picks is absolutely hilarious. Good lord. Some of these people are going to be in for quite the shock in the very near future.
Bruh, the last time we had a 1st round selection was Sam Dekker in 2015. I don’t like Tillman ether, but Morey forever traded our draft picks.
But... you know that's not true. You know that we've attached at least one draft pick to reduce our salary to get under the luxury tax for Tilman. There is no transaction to Houston such as obtaining good power forward and center. Without Morey, we dont have any all star players to join to form big 3. so sad

All Morey sees is a team full of assets, which he ran out of in Houston. They have lots of draft picks and lots of movable players. He’s a kid in a candy store.
On the subject of the post... which is curses, Morey has to be the most unlucky GM in NBA history up to this point in his career. Tragic playoff and championship destroying injuries, accidentally starting fights with nations of billions of people, NBA interference in major trades, unending problems with NBA referees, being hated by virtually everyone in the industry... I love the guy, but from a "curses" standpoint, we're better off with him in Philly. The one thing we have definitely been missing over the past 15 years is LUCK. Give me some of that!

While I think the injury curse was real, the unlucky part because of playoff tragedies could be mainly traced back to the little to inconsistent spending by both owners Alexander and Fertitta.
