Sounds like a case of a shy Trump supporter. Then again, there are people in my circle who feel sad for Trump despite the guy being responsible for directly harming them with his h1b (work visas for highly educated foreigners) policies. Emotions running hot these days regardless of where you are on the political spectrum, I guess.
It's a bit like Hitler. Is it all one person's fault or do we also blame the people who put them in power, support them, and continue to?
Covid is a pause for reflection. I saw people taking all kinds of extremes on the covid stance. Trump deserves the lionshare of the blame for that. But if you were truly scientific and hated people for going out there in the first place, trying to reverse your stance on covid for special circumstances is ridiculous. Stay away from crowded areas. Don't meet up to drink and celebrate on the streets like a bigot. Its been difficult psychologically for me. I can't imagine how hard it has been for others. For the sake of humanity, can we all agree to try and end covid once and for all?
I don't know how the left will deal with this part, and I'llbe very keen on it. Obama was quite moderate compared to the democrats of this era. He came just short of supporting BLM. Since then, BLM has been completely embraced by companies and the media.
I've consumed more cable media (thru online clips) in the last week since covid broke. It's addicting as hell trying to get a new piece of information despite knowing real results wouldn't drop until Friday the earliest. It's like purposefully exposing yourself to radiation just for a small dose of dopamine apps train you to get. Younger generations are in for a challenge when it comes to processing good news coverage against relevant news...

I just saw that conference with Giulani in front of a landscaping shop next to an adult store and it was actually quite sad and pathetic. I'd almost felt sorry for him and his boss but then I remembered how they almost destroyed democracy.
