Uh, no. Redding had a better ERA than Robertson did last year. He nearly had the best ERA of all the starting pitchers, while Robertson had the worst starting pitching ERA. It's simply a matter of Redding always getting the worst run support. It's an odd anomilly with Redding, where the bats just don't show up when he pitches.
This thing needs to be moved, but one more thing, Robertson is no longer with us, he is an Indian now.

Did you watch the game last night? Outside of the first 4 batters, Redding pitched well. He had horrible fielding and bad luck (e.g. Spivey's double). He wasn't wild, he was barely missing on his pitches. There were a few solid singles, but no other hard hit balls.
Don't even try to explain bobrek - these are the same fans that said the sky was falling when we lost our first 2games. Dotel will get his speed back Our bullpen is coming around Redding will pitch better then he is now 152 or so games left..... don't give yourselves heartattacks this early.
actually watch the games......redding pitches pretty well but gets absolutely no run support......plus he went up against a teams #1 starter......that one bad inning he had last night was due to stupid errors made by the defense......redding is a much better pitcher than robertson ever will be. he actually know how to pitch.....ERA's tell the story......now if we can just score him some runs.....
