I’m not nearly as bullish on PA right now that the chest pumping Dem media types right now. There’s a lot of assumptions about that 370 vote and I’m not entirely certain. Also I think they are overlooking what is left to trickle in from Pennsyltucky. We’ll see but I’m not that bullish. Looks like it’ll be within a couple thousand votes give or take. Not tens of thousands to Biden like the Dem media pre mature chest pumpers think.
I understand this reaction, but states for the most part run elections, and many states have changed things up for this race due to Covid. And for those changes (mail-in ballots), many states didn't adjust their counting rules to allow for pre-sorting like Florida. And to that the fact that it's so close, so I'm not shocked at what's happening. Btw, I'm all for Congress asserting their Elections Clause authority and passing legislation like a national early voting period, national mail-in rules, just to standardize things.
Don't lose sight of the fact that it's not the candidates that make winning elections hard it's the fact that are our institutions are crumbling failures. Whether you're a Berniebro or you're John Hickenloopy, that fact doesn't change that you're still fighingt the same dumb EC system. YOu can have a perfect candidate like Obama, but our broken-down institutions will warp your strategy to get elected (like, ****ing FRACKING and FIDEL CASTRO were semi-important election issues?) and will in the end sap any power our unaccountable, obstructionist senate and judicial branches will block you from governing effectively.
What evidence do you have other than being extremely negative? Like its not chest pumping IT IS MATH.
GA is just incredibly fascinating. Had the Dems an actual strategy with Hispanics in Texas I truly believe that we would have this sort of race in Texas and not just Georgia.
I admitted earlier im a bed wetter. Seriously though I just want to see these actually come in before we make such chest pumping assumptions. I’m a Houston sports fan so you know how I feel about the Jinx.
