Ok, he lost, but I think he played a fantastic game - for the most part, he and sometimes Nash looked like the only ones from Dallas playing their hearts out - Finley should have been pulled after he went 1-10...1-17 is really not funny.

Dirk will be a star in this league for many years to come. There will be many more 42 point, 18 rebound games for him in the future.

Why do people still think Finley is the star of this team? Dirk is and will be their best player. Do you think we can trade Walt and Cato for him? [IMG]

Sure. Why not? We've traded those 2 for everybody else. [IMG]

... oh, and don't forget to throw in the #13 pick to sweeten the pot!

Where was Finley for the entire series? Your star player is supposed to step it up in the playoffs, and aside from his game 5 versus Utah, he failed miserably.

For a long time now it has been said that Fin would be a better second player on a team (mostly by Dallas fans). Similar to the way Pippen was to Jordan. Once Nowitzki fully matures and becomes the Superstar he will be, Fin will be an excellent "sidekick" type of player. Dirk will be a dominant force for the MAVS, and Fin will be the All Star that helps relieve some of the pressure off of Dirk.

The most talented player is not always the leader.
A leader is someone that others look upto and follow. That doesn't have to be the most talented person on the team.

HOw did Dirk play the rest of the playoffs ? I remember him struggling. I think Michael is the most talented player on the team and should be the leader.
