The braids and the dreds piss me off. To me it signifies his decline. When i see a big change from their star image, i think T-Mac, D-Rose, Dwight, DWade, Bill Walton, Dr. J, Bird, Wilt, Kemp and in opposite ways- AI and Melo ditching the braids when it was their iconic look. Going bald is the only acceptable transition. Any other major change has only ever seen drastic decline either because of reaching an age that they want a "mature" look or because they want a change because they feel they need it to keep up with the young guns, or remake self after early injuries.
