    Watch prop 113 in CO.

It's practically impossible to eliminate the EC with a Constitutional amendment. It's much more likely through the States (it doesn't eliminate the EC, but allocate the EC based on national popular vote instead of State's votes).

You think this eliminate State's power, but what it does it increase power for those State that were never considered as a battleground. Candidates can no longer just ignore non-battle ground States if this movement grow and is adopted enough to be enacted.

The National Popular Vote bill will take effect when enacted into law by states possessing 270 electoral votes (a majority of the 538 electoral votes). As of July 2020, it has been enacted into law in 16 jurisdictions possessing 196 electoral votes, including 4 small states (DE, HI, RI, VT), 8 medium-sized states (CO, CT, MD, MA, NJ, NM, OR, WA), 3 big states (CA, IL, NY), and the District of Columbia.

The bill will take effect when enacted by states possessing an additional 74 electoral votes.

The National Popular Vote bill has now passed a total of 41 state legislative chambers in 24 states. It has also passed at least one legislative chamber in 9 states possessing 88 electoral votes (AR, AZ, ME, MI, MN, NC, NV, OK, VA). It has been unanimously approved at the committee level in 2 states possessing 27 more electoral votes (GA, MO). The National Popular Vote bill has been introduced in various years in all 50 states.

Funny that it took the first R popular vote win in a quarter century to get you talking like that. Regardless, a W is a W- you are correct.

Agreed, I am so tired of looking at 5 random states that you have to win, it feels like just because I live in a predominately red/blue state my vote doesn't matter when we carry the state fine without my vote......

Also, so many people DONT vote, cant we figure out an app that allows us to do it online
