The one thing I liked about Westbrook is he pushes the tempo. I actually wish Harden would do this more he would get more easy baskets if he did this on a regular basis.

    We watching the same Harden?

Embiid would be waiting for Harden up the other end...

The only way I would trade Harden or Westbrook is with multiple picks coming back with players of course, the draft cupboards are obviously bare. With that said, I want to run it back one more time with Silas and see what happens. Gordon is the player I want gone tbh. House as well of course, lol Does anyone know what to make of Stone as our new GM? Aggressive, draft savvy, conservative, etc.?

LOL. There might be a chance if Philly didn't have a GM who had firsthand experience in why you should NOT trade for Westbrook.

I don't even need Embiid or Simmons or Thybulle. Give me everything but them and I'd be a happy camper.

    Harden Milton
    Richardson Gordon
    Harris House
    Roco Burks
    Horford PJ

    That's a legiiit squad.

On the other end they have a big 3 and Morey can fill the gaps. Sounds like a win-win.

I don't know why you guys waste time in thinking about trades with Westrbook ending up in Philly, that's just not gonna happen. There are more chances that Tilman pays the tax.

Morey: "I'm ready to do this, but you're going to have to throw in a sweetener. How about a 1st rounder?"

    Stone: "Dude..."

    Top 10 player?
Maybe 6 years ago. Now he's easily the biggest liability on any team.

lol thats what everybody said about rondo and he crushed their championship dreams

westbrook is a fantastic player that every team wants...

you just need to put him in position to suceed be patient and not knee jerk
see cp3 last year and the year before...

1 westbrook is a beast until he got covid and injured his quad
2 he even changed the way he plays- shot less 3s and more of the shots hes good at
3 he was even willing to defer
4 he even shot 3s at a decent % during the stretch when he was healthy and acclimated

i dont get the westi hate
he played at mvp level for 2 months before the break, it was just 6 months ago

hes a diamond , just need to be used correct

He is relatively old, prone to some injuries, and owed 40 mill a year.

Being fair here, I didn't mention his ability to fumble the ball in close playoff situations.

The Rockets traded Clint and gutted their team for him to succeed! Not sure what more what they could have done more...

In fairness though our absolute best basketball being played was when Harden and CP3 slowest the tempo down as much as possible and took turns on P&R and iso.

Westbrook pushing the pace is fun to watch, but it gasses our team and the trade off is terrible considering our issue is our defense, not our offense on most nights.

    Rondo's 3pt% in the past 5 seasons:
    36%, 38%, 33%, 36%, 33%

    Westbrook's 3pt% in the past 5 seasons:
    30%, 34%, 30%, 29%, 26%

Teams sagged off Rondo daring him to shoot. And he killed them.
Teams ignored Westbrook to double team Harden. And they killed us.

    See the difference?

Rondo used to be a terrible outside shooter. He changed himself into a decent one. Westbrook used to be a below average outside shooter. He changed himself to be a terrible one.

Cool but it took Rondo least 5 years to have that epiphany.

You can't wait on Westbrook.....or Harden doesn't have that much time.

And again Rondo ain't paid close to 40 million.

    That's my point.

Other than shooting, Rondo and Westbrook are a stark contrast. Rondo is smart and methodical. Westbrook is brash and impulsive. If the two guys swapped teams, we had Rondo and Lakers had Westbrook, the result would be very different.

What in the world did I just read?

Last season even including his hot stretch was the worst season of his career outside maybe his rookie or sophomore year in the league.

That hot stretch represented the only winning basketball he has provided in the last 5 years.

He can be better than he was last year. But it is simply insanity to believe he should even sniff a top 10 list. Hell top 50 is laughable.

Rose should be ashamed he even brought that idea up.
