    Who will be the guys that will be around and help our new coach? seems that the trend now is hiring big name or former head coaches as assistants

    I just hope its not Hornacek or McMillan.

    bring in a defensive coordinator. make some offers to the following:

    • Bzdelik is still out there. morey and MDA are gone so maybe that clears the way for him to return.
    • Erman is still out there and deserves a shot.
    • lionel hollins - in 2016 morey wanted Silas and Hollins. Hollins is the second assistant in LA. would he come here to be the first assistant or AHC? its a step closer to another head coaching gig, but he probably wants to stay in LA and try to win again.
    • Mo Cheeks - helped the thunder improve their Drtg's from 15th to 4th with 7 top 10 finishes in 9 years. as HC of the Sixers he improved their Drtg from 24th to 7th in 3 years. with Donovan out his okc staff should be available.
    • Brett Brown - the Sixers Drtg during his tenure was 26th, 13th, 27th, 16th, 3rd, 14th, 8th (this year). keep in mind the first few years were Hinkie's process. amazing that he even got them up to 13th while tanking. he failed there in other ways, but I'm only thinking about defense for this hire. even still the numbers are up and down but promising.

    So I would be shocked if we get Nate McMilan with Tilman being so cheap. It would be an eye opening move by ownership to actually pay for a high quality assistant.

    Jeff B doesn’t count because they had to go beg for him to comeback in the middle of season because he didn’t like his contract offer before.

    So how does self accountability start with Morey? You don’t need a disciplinarian, these aren’t dogs, they’re men. Sometimes less discipline leads to more self accountability. I think you’re pretty lost here.
