    If we tell Morey NO he will just throw FRP until we say YES. Add 6 FRP’s unprotected. Then sure.

    Try this...

    Harden, Rivers, Gordon and Chandler

    for

    Simmons, Harris, Korkmaz, Thybulle and two first round picks (UNPROTECTED) from other bad teams. EX: Hornets

    I may pick up the phone if I was Rafael Stone and was offered that.

    LAL: Russ Westbrook
    PHI: Paul George
    HOU: Ben Simmons

    Kawhi gets his PG, Russ goes home

    6ers trade for CP3 and PG13 to pair w/Embiid - instantly best team in East

    Rockets get their Clint Capela/Russ Westbrook hybrid in Simmons

    Then trade EGo & FRP for Oubre.

    And House & FRP for Bamba.

    6'5 Harden
    6'5 Oubre
    6'7 RoCo
    6'10 Simmons
    7'0 Bamba

    Rockets mini rebuild and still keep 2nd best Rockets player in franchise history, who is still in his prime.

    Dream did not win his 1st championship until he was 31 years old.

    Guess how old Harden is now.

    I think people are really overestimating Westbrook's price.

    I honestly think we need to give up a 1st to get back an expiring for Russell at this stage.

    It seems premature now but this thread will age and become a pretty interesting revisit at different points of time in the next 3 years before harden is gone. Especially when it’s likely he won’t make that far as a rocket.

    Russ averaged 27 PPG and had his most efficient season last year.

    Rockets fans actually underestimate his value because most dislike him personally or the compatibility of his game.

    This is actually a good point. Especially with a declining player on a super max 3 years. But it’s a good thing the rockets don’t have anymore 1st anyway. Ironic they used them to get the worse player lol

    I gotta be honest I'm surprised by the lack of interest in the trade.

    Straight Simmons - Harden I think the trade is al wash at this point.

    Simmons has 10 years left and looks like a top 10 player in his peak and challenge for MVPs that he has yet to enter.
    Harden is past his peak and has only 5 years left as a star. And he will decline. But he is the better player.

    We also have a declining Gordon & Westbrook too. And no cap space.
    We would have to trade away a year to reset next season for another run at the title with Harden.
    And that involves hitting on free agency.

    I want 4 first round picks and 4 pick swaps and 2 seconds. Then I’d do it so Harden can win a ring away from Tillman.
