Has Trump weighed in on the France vs Islamic Extremism story?

    Attacking Islam and Islamic terrorists seemed to be a common refrain from Trump during the Obama presidency. It seems like that rhetoric has died down somewhat. Maybe I missed it. Is it to protect his relationship with the Saudis? Is it to not openly support a secular country that is cracking down on religious extremists, because of how that might play to his Evangelical base? Or does he just not find going after Muslims to be as politically advantageous now as it once was, with other things going on?

    It would completely undermine his claim he defeated radical Islamic terrorism to acknowledge that Islamists and other religious extremists are still a threat.
