With Morey gone the Rockets will become the next Phoenix Suns.

    With the news about Morey going to Philly its pretty much unanimous Tilman sucks. The Suns were notorious for not spending or trying to win and just cashing in on simply being in the NBA. When the Harden era ends after his contract is up in a few years I feel its very possible that the Rockets might make at least a soft transition into becoming the next Suns.

    I really hope that I am wrong but the way things are going this might be our future.

    Is there someone who can plot out the intersection between people who say "the rockets plan isn't working, we need to blow it up and start anew" and people who think "tilman sucks and they never should have fired Dantoni or let Morey go" and people who think "oh **** we're going to end up the next phoenix suns"

    I am talking about the old suns who were notorious for doing the minimum possible. The owner realized he can make money no matter what he does because people came to see the other teams play and got money from tv from other teams coming there.

    We all knew Tilman was going to hire a rookie HC. Silias might turn out to be a great coach but make no mistake about it, he was hired cuz he's cheap.

    Sure feels like we're starting down the path of a rebuild. After this season I see James and Russ getting traded for picks and young players.

    Morey gone......Harden and Westbrook (no Lucas as HC) will soon ask to leave within 1 to 2 years.

    Suns actually looked good while in the bubble. I say we become more like the Kings.

    Y’all be giving Morey to much credit. Before Harden, the Rockets were one of the most irrelevant teams in the league.

    Lol, bc we were rebuilding post Yao w/o tanking. We were in the treadmill doldrums for....3 seasons.

    Kings, Suns Knicks are working on 14, 10, 7 years respectively
