Offense needs to scrap the current plan for the running game and create a new one to better use the Johnsons' skills. More RPOs for Deshaun; he needs to use his legs more and stop holding on to the ball to buy time. Simplify the route tree and add some variety so that we don't have to depend on long-developing pass plays. Defense needs to try out new safeties and CBs. Brennan Scarlett should be benched. Think about trades, but don't sell low.

Why not just cut David Johnson right now? We haven’t seen enough 14 carries for 42 yards games yet? Still think after 4 years he’s going to become great again? Playoffs are out of the question. Trade Watt, Cooks, Fuller, whoever for whatever picks you can get and cut the overpaid vets like Johnson ASAP.
I know we already don't have draft picks but a move like this would send the message to JJ and Deshaun that they're really not giving up on the season.
